An Effective Natural Remedy for Stretch Marks
Use this natural remedy for stretch marks before and after child birth and you will be surprised to see how wonderful your skin will look!
Many women are dismayed to find stretch marks on their bodies after child birth. Some resort to surgery or laser treatment to have them removed.
So what causes stretch marks to form? When your skin is stretched more than normal to accommodate your baby, the tissue fibers of your skin break down and tear, leaving thin,
red or purple lines that, after a while, turn white or silvery. These are stretch marks and can be seen in the top layer of the skin.
Stretch marks are actually a type of scarring. When the skin is overstretched and collagen production is disrupted, a type of scar forms. Like any scars, therefore, once
you have them, they will not go away, although they will fade significantly over time.
The best way to deal with stretch marks is to not let them form in the first place! Prevention is always better than cure.
Here is an effective natural remedy for stretch marks - use it when you are pregnant and chances are you probably will not get stretch marks. If you already have got
stretch marks on your body, this remedy can still be useful in helping the skin coloration to fade.

Other Effective Natural Remedies for Stretch Marks
Another natural remedy for stretch marks that works for many people is to apply vitamin E oil to the stretch marks twice daily. For added synergistic effect, you can add
cod liver oil to the vitamin E oil and apply to the marks, followed by aloe vera gel.
To prevent stretch marks, during pregnancy eat foods rich in:
- Vitamin E, such as wheat germ. The vitamin E in the foods can promote skin elasticity.
- Essential fatty acids (EFAs), such as flaxseeds, fish oil, flaxseed oil, etc. EFAs are also good for the skin - they keep the skin healthy and
